Pajaro Dunes

With an address in Watsonville I wasn't exactly sure what to expect, but my trip with Jen and her family to the Pajaro Dunes was full of beautiful sunsets, wildlife sightings, great walks and runs along the beach and some much needed rest and relaxation. As we drove through strawberry fields after getting off of Highway 1, I was thinking we were headed into farm country, until we pulled up to a gated entrance and I realized we were entering a resort of multi-million dollar vacation rentals, complete with tennis courts and most importantly beach access. After we found our Asian inspired beach house our weekend of fun began. We took long walks and runs along the sun drenched beaches, took lots of pictures of the sun setting over the Pacific Ocean, saw some odd looking "piggy banks" at SaveMart, had lunch at Pizza My Heart in Capitola, played Apples to Apples, saw an injured seal (and called for help), played tennis and just relaxed.
