Crush 29, Yard House, The Fountains and More Eating

First, I noticed that I forgot to post some pictures about my visits to Skipolini's Pizza in Rocklin and Ginger's in Roseville.

With two successful live cooking segments this week for Denio's I rewarded myself with two Happy Hours. Monday I was off to Crush 29 for beer, fish tacos, ahi, Napa peach pizza and sliders. Friday, I headed to the Fountains for more sliders with truffle fries, ahi and beer at Yard House. We finished our night by enjoying the First Friday event featuring classic cars, numerous vendors, tacos at the soon to open Zocolo and gelato at Miabello. Sunday I headed to On the Border with my parents for grande margaritas and a tasty burrito. There was also getting my office into the Olympic spirit by decorating my giant picture of London and some running, my favorite part of the trail had been closed for more than two months and it finally opened on Monday!

Snow at Fort Bradley

After a great open house with friends and family at Fort Bradley, a birthday dinner at Zocolo and watching Blind Side , I did not think the day could get much better ... but then it started to snow. Fort Bradley is looking more and more like the Bradley Lodge and is becoming a " Winter Wonderland ." Or maybe it's beginning to look a little more like Christmas .

Celebrating Peanut Butter and Pancake Days, Skiing and Friends

It was a week of varied experiences. I used my Chick-Fil-A Calendar Card for an order of free fries (and also ordered a wrap and ice cream sundae ) while out to dinner with a friend, then joined my parents for the weekend at the Bradley Lodge . My dad and I got a beautiful day of skiing in at Bear Valley ... beautiful since so much snow had fallen. My mom and grandma went all out on dinner and we celebrated Peanut Butter Day with a dessert of Reese's Chips Ahoy Cookies and Reese's Peanut Butter Pie (funny part ... we had no idea it was going to be Peanut Butter Day in advance, we just already had those items and it made for a good excuse to eat them). On Sunday I met with with friends at Rolling Hills Christian Church for a night of worship and baptism and then we headed to dinner at Casa Ramos ... my plate of food was giant (I actually brought leftovers home).
