Last week I was contacted by Sacramento Connect, a service of The Sacramento Bee, that brings together more than one hundred local blogs. I never thought that my blog would qualify because it doesn't really focus on a single topic. I'm not a food blogger, but I blog about food. I am not a travel blogger, but I blog about travel. I am not a family blogger, but I blog about family. However, for all the things I am not, I am a lot of other things. I write about my life and the events that I find interesting or thought provoking.

For those of you who are new to the blog, welcome. I hope that you find my posts to be relevant to whatever it is you are looking for. Feel free to post comments (moderated), ask questions and most of all realize that all of the thoughts and ideas on the blog are my own. I will often write about my clients and the things I get to do because of my job, but all reflections are truthful and honest. I love my job and I love my clients and often times my blog will reflect that.

Snow at Fort Bradley

After a great open house with friends and family at Fort Bradley, a birthday dinner at Zocolo and watching Blind Side , I did not think the day could get much better ... but then it started to snow. Fort Bradley is looking more and more like the Bradley Lodge and is becoming a " Winter Wonderland ." Or maybe it's beginning to look a little more like Christmas .

Celebrating Peanut Butter and Pancake Days, Skiing and Friends

It was a week of varied experiences. I used my Chick-Fil-A Calendar Card for an order of free fries (and also ordered a wrap and ice cream sundae ) while out to dinner with a friend, then joined my parents for the weekend at the Bradley Lodge . My dad and I got a beautiful day of skiing in at Bear Valley ... beautiful since so much snow had fallen. My mom and grandma went all out on dinner and we celebrated Peanut Butter Day with a dessert of Reese's Chips Ahoy Cookies and Reese's Peanut Butter Pie (funny part ... we had no idea it was going to be Peanut Butter Day in advance, we just already had those items and it made for a good excuse to eat them). On Sunday I met with with friends at Rolling Hills Christian Church for a night of worship and baptism and then we headed to dinner at Casa Ramos ... my plate of food was giant (I actually brought leftovers home).
